Laura Foster received a Master’s of Arts in Counseling and Art therapy from the Adler School of Professional Psychology in Chicago and went on to become licensed as a Clinical Counselor.
Using Art therapy, talk therapy or a combination of the two, Laura provides you with the opportunity to determine your own boundaries, identify your own needs and problem solve in order to design your own future.
Laura co-authored the book “Stress in the Modern World: Understanding Science and Society.” Inthis work, she addresses how individuals use self-injury to ineffectively cope with stress, describing developmental issues related to this coping method, diagnostic presentation, and biological mechanisms at play. Laura accepts insurance (please inquire for more information), and charges $175 per intake session and $155 per subsequent hour-long session.
