Frequently Asked Questions

How can therapy help me?

Therapy is intended to provide people with a place to process feelings and experiences with the guidance of a trained therapist. The therapist will utilize various techniques to help you better understand your thoughts and feelings and show you ways of either creating change or finding acceptance around these. Therapy is shown to decrease feelings of depression and anxiety, to help with processing traumatic events, to repair relationships, and to assist in acclimating to changes and transitions more easily.
